A new study shows that after only 3 months on the market, the Amazon Kindle Fire is already the most used Android Tablet. Not only has Amazon sold millions of the tablets (they don’t release exact numbers, but estimates are in the 3-5 million range) but Kindle Fire users are also much more active than users of competing tablets. Before the release of the Kindle Fire, the Samsung Galaxy Tab was the most used Android tablet. Comparing Galaxy Tab vs Kindle Fire app usage, the study shows that the Kindle Fire has overtaken the Galaxy Tab. However, it’s unclear which Galaxy Tab model the study is referring to.
